Welcome to Wild Writers
The writing group for those working at the intersection of art and science
The aim of Wild Writers is to create a space for creative or narrative nonfiction writers whose focus is on environmental or natural science communication, everything from wildlife to space dust that makes up this incredible universe we call home. A place to come together to share work and offer feedback; a place to support each other’s questions and pool resources about workshops, competitions and other opportunities for learning and growing our writing.
Poets and fiction writers are also welcome if you feel your work fits in with the aims and interests of the group.
My intention is to start a monthly online meet-up to give feedback on work in progress, something that is sorely lacking in the creative science and nature writing community. If you would be keen to participate, please fill out the survey below so I can gauge interest and availability.
If you don’t want to join a monthly meeting, but would still like to connect and be part of the community, subscribe and head on over to the chat, where I have seeded some conversation starters.
Any questions, comments, ideas, I would love to hear from you.
Anna.
Membership is free.

Great idea. My stuff is often fictional observation of natures minute details. Memories of being a free range kid in the country of the 1960s. I’ll check in and maybe try a non fictional piece.
Great idea!
